Peanut Butter Adventures
Spring weather has arrived in Vancouver and I know it’s just around the corner for the rest of Canada, that means it’s time to get back outside and start enjoying the great outdoors! Whether it be a long bike ride, a hike with the family or maybe an outdoor workout at the park, you can fuel your adventure with Adams 100% Natural Peanut Butter. I plan on adding more hikes to my list of favourites this year! We’re so lucky in Vancouver with hundreds of incredible hikes located near the city.
The natural upside of Adams is that it provides Canadians with an honest-to-goodness delicious taste that is 100% natural. That means no trans fats, no preservations, no hydrogenated fats, no stabilizers and no added sugars – that’s the upside of natural! Adams 100% Natural Peanut Butter is simply made with peanuts and just a dash of salt, making it a healthful ingredient to use in home-cooked meals or just enjoyed straight from the jar! (I know I’m not the only one!!)
Peanut Butter + Coffee For Everything
You guys know I’m super active and always on the go. Adams 100% Natural Peanut Butter makes that possible as a natural and convenient snack option. Whether it’s a spoonful between work and the gym, added to my morning chia seed oatmeal, scooped into a smoothie or as an ingredient in homemade protein bars, Adams Peanut Butter always helps keep me energized for my active lifestyle.
Some of my favourite snacks include a banana sliced in half and topped with Adams and sprinkling of hemp seeds, dates stuffed with Adams and raw pepitas or sliced apple and peanut butter sprinkled with cinnamon.
Peanut Butter Mocha Smoothie
Now that I’ve officially professed my love for all things Adams 100% Natural Peanut Butter, it’s about time to share this incredible, super-charged, high-protein smoothie recipe with you!
This smoothie features all my favourite smoothie ingredients: coffee, peanut butter, frozen banana and vegan protein powder! If you want to amp up the nutrition you could always add superfoods like spinach, spirulina, hemp seeds or chia seeds to the mix. I sometimes even add a teaspoon of turmeric, which seems a little odd but you can’t taste it and it has wonderful anti-inflammatory properties. And the frozen banana is the key to creamy smoothies so don’t skip that part!
This smoothie is ready to fuel your next hike, or long training run, a tough morning spin class or just a busy day at work. I could barely believe how good it tastes, the hint of peanut butter with coffee and banana is unreal!Print
