This is more than your average cookbook. In addition to amazing recipes, Deryn has filled the pages with information on how to get started on and maintain a whole food, plant-based diet. The health benefits of listed ingredients are very detailed and helpful to balance your diet for optimal health. And let's talk about the photography. A beautiful picture for (nearly) every recipe makes choosing what to make a snap! I've made a lot of the recipes and there's no fancy ingredients needed; just what you can find at a regular grocery store or farmers market.
