sweet & spicy tofu!
Press the tofu.
Press the tofu for 20 minutes using a press or dish towel and heavy object.
Slice the tofu.
Cut the tofu into cubes, triangles or slabs.
Coat the tofu.
Mix the tofu with the soy sauce and cornstarch.
Bake the tofu.
Place the tofu on a pan and bake for 20 min. at 400 F until golden and crispy.
Mix the sauce.
Mix the sauce ingredients together in a container.
Thicken the sauce.
Heat the sauce in a pan until thickened.
Add the tofu.
Add the tofu to the pan, stir to coat and enjoy!
Try it served with rice and veggies or topped with scallions and sesame seeds for a tasty side dish.
