Power Bowls Book Review
I’m so happy to share this review of POWER BOWLS by Nutritionist in the Kitch with you today!
Christal was actually one of the first bloggers I connected with when I started blogging and it’s been really great watching her grow her amazing blog over the last few years. It seems like just the right time for her to release her first e-book, POWER BOWLS!
Christal is the master of simple, wholesome and nutritious ingredients, so I think she did a great job in choosing a theme for her first e-book.
The book features 10 brand-new recipes, not found on her blog, they’re almost all gluten-free and she offers vegan and dairy-free options for most of the recipes. It’s releasing on October 1st and will be available for just $4.99, a great deal in my opinion!
Among the selection of 10 delicious recipes are power bowls like the Chocolate Coconut Dream Power Bowl, the Apricot and Cherry Quinoa Power, the Vegan Pineapple Cheesecake Power Bowl and the Sante Fe Smoked Tofu Power Bowl.
Each recipe features a beautiful photo to go along with it, as well as detailed instructions and the macronutrient breakdown. The book also explains what a power bowl is and how to make and customize your own with lists of ingredients in each macronutrient category: proteins, carbohydrates and fats.
There are both sweet and savoury power bowl recipes so you can enjoy them anytime of day, whether you’re sitting down to breakfast, enjoying a nutritious snack or whipping up a quick and healthy lunch or dinner.
