Description

This 1 L green monster smoothie contains a salads worth of green veggies but mixed with frozen fruit and protein powder, you won’t even know they’re in there!


Ingredients

  • handful of fresh spinach (50 g)
  • 23 leaves of kale, de-stemmed (50 g)
  • 1/2 a small zucchini, chopped into a few pieces (85 g)
  • 1 rib celery, chopped into a few pieces (65 g)
  • 1 cup frozen peach slices (140 g)
  • 1/2 cup frozen sliced strawberries (70 g)
  • 1 scoop vanilla plant-based protein (30 g)
  • 1 1/2 cups plant-based milk or water
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tsp spirulina powder (optional)
  • 1 tsp moringa powder (optional)
  • small piece of fresh ginger root (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add of the ingredients to a high-speed blender and slowly increase speed to maximum and then blend  up to 60 seconds until completely smooth and creamy.

Notes

Optional ingredients and substitutions:

  • add 2 tbsp almomd butter, peanut butter or 1/4 of an avocado
  • use ground flax or chia seeds instead of hemp seeds
  • use chorella, maca or any other superfood powder instead of spirulina and moringa
  • 1/2 frozen banana for extra creaminess and sweetness
