Description

Love chocolate and coffee together? You’ll love this rich and creamy vegan mocha. Whisk up the chocolate, add to your favourite coffee and enjoy!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or other plant-based milk
  • 3 tbsp dairy-free chocolate chips
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp raw sugar, maple syrup or coconut sugar (or sweeten to taste with stevia)
  • brewed coffee

Instructions

  1. To make the hot cocoa, add the almond milk, chcoolate chips, vanilla, cocoa powder and sugar to a small sauce pan and whisk until combined and creamy.
  2. Once it’s all melted together, froth it by using a milk frother or placing it in a blender on high for 30 seconds.
  3. To make the mocha, fill 2 mugs about 1/2-2/3 of the way with coffee then top with the frothy hot cocoa.
