This was hard. I am sore and tired, but I did it anyways (my motivation). I had planned for hills today and I wanted to stick to the plan. Also last night I had a veggie burger, fries and 2 beers so it was definitely time to climb some hills. I wanted to stop a bunch of times during this workout but cheesy house music turned up way to loud kept me going and I finished feeling decent (and very, very sweaty). Here it is, give it a try and let me know how you do! Please adjust the speed as needed. These speeds worked well for me, it was challenging but doable. The 10 and 8% incline at 7.0 mph almost killed me but I made it through!
I did some upper-body weights yesterday and I’m so sore! I hadn’t done a workout like that in a while so I’m feeling it and it feels good. Although yoga tomorrow might be a different story with all those chaturanga dandasanas!
1. Dumbbell Chest Press x 15
2. 1-Arm Kettlebell Row x 15
3. Kettlebell High Pull x 10
4. Lateral Raise x 10
5. Tricep Dip x 10
6. Overhead Tricep Extension x 10
Repeat for 4 Sets.
I finished off with 2 x 60 seconds planks and that was it. My diet has been a little weird the last few two days because I really, really (really) need to go grocery shopping – I just haven’t had time to go this week. Luckily I had lots of frozen fruit, nuts and seeds on hand so those kept me going. I can’t wait to do a massive, healthy foods stock-up tomorrow! I’m already dreaming of all the healthy meals I can make! I hate not having any vegetables in the house. The only vegetables in the house for the last two days were 2 heads of celery, not the best food to eat in a quiet office, but I’ve been crunching away for the last two days. My co-workers may or may not be annoyed 🙂
Do you do a big grocery shop on the weekend or tend to make lots of small trips during the week?
Have a great weekend everyone! Hope it’s a healthy and happy one!
