It’s been a busy day here in my Running on Real Food world. I was up at 5:30 am, off to the gym for my Killer Cardio Workout, then to work and after that straight to the ferries and on to Comox to enjoy the long weekend. We’ve just arrived in Comox, it’s 10pm and honestly I can’t really remember what I’d planned to talk about in todays post! I’m too tired! Luckily, I put together the two workouts I wanted to share with you while I was on the ferry, so I’ve at least got that for you!
This morning I did the Killer Cardio Workout and I must say I was dripping sweat from just about every place possible! Whew! So awesome! I ran my hard sprints on 9.0 mph and rested at 6.0 mph and I whipped through the supersets as quick as I could. The planks, well, they were planks – hard as always! The great thing about this workouts is you’ll get in an amazing HIIT workout plus build strength in your upper body, lower body and core. It’s everything you could ask for all rolled up into one! Go get it
The second workout I have for you today is my 30/30 Mania Workout, which I’m still recovering from doing on Wednesday! My traps are so sore they still hurt to the touch, 3 days later! This one is a serious leg burner, but you’ll also work your arms and core and get in an awesome cardio workout.
You’ll want to choose weights that allow you to perform the exercises with proper form but at a quicker than normal pace, the goal is to really push those 30 seconds! You can rest about 1 minute, or more if needed between each 4 minute set. Let me know how this goes for you if you try it!!
